IIA Women's Auxiliary Board

The International Institute of Akron's Women's Auxiliary Board (WAB) was formed in 1956 by a group of women from various nationalities.  For over 50 years, this talented group has helped the agency by volunteering, supporting, and raising money through various fund-raising events and activities. 

International Institute of Akron Women’s Auxiliary Board Elects Officers

On June 3, the International Institute of Akron Women’s Auxiliary Board elected new officers whose terms will take effect in June.  They are President Betty Vitullo of Stow, Vice President Pauline Adams of Akron, Recording Secretary Marnie Sweet of Akron, Corresponding Secretary Sophie Curtis of Akron, Treasurer Madhu Singh of Akron, and Parliamentarian Olwen Mortimer of Barberton.

Since 1956, the International Institute of Akron’s Women’s Auxiliary Board has been an integral part of the agency by helping as volunteers, supporters and raising funds through special events.
