Please Help Make A Difference

The International Institute of Akron depends on the generous support and assistance of its members, volunteers and donors to keep its programs and services running. Last year, over 100 people volunteered their time to teach English as a Second Language, teach foreign languages, tutor individuals, assist newly-arrived refugees acclimate to their new country and perform administrative tasks at the Institute. We're always looking for more volunteers to help the IIA meet its goals. The International Institute gratefully accepts cash donations to meet its program and service expenses as well as material donations to help recently-arrived refugees establish homes and new lives in our community.
