Since 1916, the International Institute of Akron's commitment has been to preserve the spirit of "the American Dream" through dedicated service to our immigrants, foreign-born and community. We contribute to the well-being of our community by creating and implementing programs and services to assist the foreign-born integrate into our society, to promote public awareness of the value of ethnic diversity and to encourage international communication.

The International Institute of Akron also offers interpreting and translation services, and cross cultural communication seminars to the area's corporate community. Additionally, our Employment Counseling service can help area employers meet their hiring needs by providing pre-screened, skilled workers.
